I just found this as an alternative to MyFitnessPal, which imo is a bit too crowded and bloated. FatSecret is a clean app that lets you keep track of your calorie and nutrient intake, and your daily exercise. You can scan barcodes or take photos of your food to add them to your diary.
It keeps track of any fitness goals you have and gives you weekly summaries of your food eaten, right down to specific macronutrients.
It has a pretty well populated list of restaurants, brands and supermarket brands based on your geography. You can even give your doctor/dietitian/trainer access to your records so they can keep up to date with how you're getting on
