Fathom is a freediving companion for iPhone. It brings CO₂ and O₂ training tables, guided breathwork, and a detailed dive log into one app - built around how freedivers actually train. Log sessions across eight disciplines, track personal bests, set per-discipline goals, and sync everything to iCloud automatically.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Fathom because I couldn't find a training app that matched how freedivers actually work.
Most apps treat freediving like it's just scuba with no tank — a simple dive log where you record depth and move on. But freediving training is structured. You follow CO₂ tables and O₂ tables between sessions. You do dry breathwork on the days you're not in the water. You track hold times, distances, and depths across multiple disciplines. None of the tools I found handled all of that in one place.
So I built Fathom.
The core of it is the training tables — built-in CO₂ and O₂ programmes with guided holds and timed rests, plus a custom table builder if you want to design your own. There's also guided breathwork for dry training (box breathing, coherence, 4-7-8, diaphragmatic), and a dive log that covers all eight AIDA disciplines with fields for depth, buddy context, equipment, conditions, mental state, and safety incidents.
Everything syncs to iCloud so your data follows you across devices.
It's free to download. Fathom Pro (€2.99/month or €19.99/year) unlocks custom tables, presets, and an unlimited dive log.
I'd love to hear what you think - especially from anyone who freedives. What would make this more useful for your training? Happy to answer any questions below.
