The slow reveals sound like a fun twist on the usual pickers. One thing that would make it even better for friend groups is a way to save or share the result history after a session, so you can look back at what Fate decided and maybe replay a particularly dramatic draw.
Love that you built the suspense into the reveal itself instead of just spitting out an answer. The balloon animation is such a small thing but it genuinely makes picking a restaurant way more fun than it has any right to be.
