We built FangsNTails because important pet-care information is usually scattered across calendars, notes, folders, cloud storage, and photo galleries. This becomes especially difficult when you care for multiple pets. We wanted every pet to have one organised place for their profile, medical history, care schedule, health measurements, documents, and daily tasks. FangsNTails started as a simple reminder app. While building it, we realised that reminders alone were not enough. Pet owners also need the context behind every event: which pet it concerns, what happened previously, which documents are attached, how health indicators are changing, and what needs to happen next. That idea evolved into a more complete pet-care companion with: - Separate profiles and histories for multiple pets - Reminders for medication, vaccinations, appointments, grooming, feeding, walks, and custom events - Weight, temperature, height, and other health tracking - Medical cases, vaccination records, passports, insurance, microchip details, and document storage - PDF and CSV exports for veterinarian visits - AI-assisted case analysis, document parsing, breed identification, and care guidance - A map for finding nearby veterinary clinics and pet-care specialists - Cloud synchronisation across devices FangsNTails is not intended to replace a veterinarian. Our goal is to help pet owners stay organised, notice important changes, prepare for appointments, and keep their pet’s history available when it matters. We are initially focusing on cats and dogs, with support for more animal types planned for the future.
