Community-first marketplace for services and digital goods with trustless, instant, peer-to-peer payments powered by Solana.

Hello there! I'm Selçuk, co-founder & CTO of fam.work.
The journey to building this platform started with a simple vision: to create a digital workspace that genuinely puts creators and freelancers first. We looked at how the traditional gig economy operates and realized a massive architectural shift was needed. Independent talent shouldn't have to deal with heavy middleman fees and legacy gatekeepers just to trade services and digital products.
We built fam.work to be a high-performance, low-overhead marketplace where ownership and community come first. To ensure that value stays where it belongs, we engineered a lightweight, pure JSON API backend supporting instant, direct transactions. When an order is placed, the payment is locked securely via a smart contract instead of hitting a centralized bank account, settling directly into the seller's wallet the moment the work payload is delivered.
To scale the ecosystem natively, we also baked a referral engine directly into the core architecture. When you onboard someone to fam.work, you receive up to 2% of every transaction volume they process. Whether you prefer a seamless, secure onboarding flow using standard email authentication or full web3 flexibility with optional non-custodial wallet linking, we have stripped away the monolithic fluff to give you absolute control over your deployment and your earnings.
We’re incredibly excited to launch on Product Hunt today. Check it out, test the limits of the platform, and let us know what you think. We're here in the comments and ready for your technical feedback.

Hey Product Hunters 👋
I'm Baler - advisor to the fam.work team on operations, security, and GTM.
A year ago, we started with a domain and a simple conviction: the way freelance marketplaces work is broken. They take your customers, clip your earnings, and keep the growth upside for themselves. We built fam.work as the antidote.
The problem we're solving is real. Layoffs are rising. More people than ever need to earn outside of a single employer. Developers, designers, writers, builders - they have skills and hustle, but the platforms they use treat them as inventory, not owners.
fam.work is built on three principles:
Ownership - You set your gigs, your prices, your terms. Buyers message you directly. When a sale happens, a smart contract pays you on the next block. Nothing routes through us. We're not a middleman, we're infrastructure.
Community - When you bring someone onto fam.work, you earn 1% of every sale they make, forever. 2% if you're Premium. The platform doesn't grow without its people, so the upside shouldn't stay with us.
Growth - fam.work grows through the people on it. Sellers bring their networks. Buyers recommend gigs they loved. The community is the growth engine — and the referral system ensures that engine gets rewarded.
Every feature we've shipped has started from the same question: does this make the individual more powerful as a business? If the answer is yes, we build it. If it doesn't, we don't.
One person earning more because of what we built is a direct win. That's been the reason from day one, and it still is.
Happy to answer anything about the product, the smart contract architecture, the referral mechanics, or where we're heading next.
