We built FairTest after seeing how many organisations still run their drug and alcohol testing programs on spreadsheets — manually picking names, chasing paper forms, and scrambling when an auditor asks for records. The process was slow, error-prone, and impossible to defend if challenged. We wanted to build something purpose-built: a system where you can run a random selection in seconds, get a complete audit trail automatically, and log test results from the field with photos and signatures. No more filing cabinets, no more "who did we test last quarter?" panic. The approach evolved as we talked to both employers and testing providers. Employers needed multi-site support, automated schedules, and compliance reports they could pull instantly. Providers needed to manage dozens of client organisations from one account. So we built for both. We also added an AI chat feature — you can ask "how many tests did we run in Q1?" or "show me all positive results at the Perth site" and get an instant answer without touching a report builder. FairTest is live and being used across mining, construction, and logistics in Australia.
