FairXI fixes the weekly football argument: unbalanced teams and unclear pitch-cost splitting. Create a match, share one link — players join with name, position, and a self-rating, and FairXI auto-generates fair teams (snake-draft by skill) and splits the pitch cost per player. Snake draft by self-rating actually worked out our teams evenly without the usual argument, and splitting the pitch cost automatically saved a group chat headache. The MVP voting is a nice touch.
One thing that would be really useful is letting players RSVP a few days in advance instead of just on match day, so the team captain knows if they have enough bodies to confirm the pitch booking or need to find a sub. Maybe even a waitlist once it fills up.
