They all had the same problems: - Uploaded my photo to unknown servers (privacy? nope) - Gave a one-word answer like "Oval" with zero context - Pushed me toward a subscription for basic results So I asked: what if the AI ran entirely in your browser? That became the core principle. MediaPipe Face Mesh maps 468 landmarks on your face, calculates geometric ratios (forehead, cheekbones, jaw width, face length), and classifies your shape — all client-side. You can open DevTools and verify: zero network requests with your photo. But detection alone isn't useful. Nobody searches "what is my face shape" just for a label — they want to know what hairstyle works, what glasses to pick. So I built personalized recommendations with visual explanations for WHY each style suits your face. The biggest evolution was moving from simple 7-category classification to mixed shapes with confidence scores. Real faces don't fit neat boxes — "78% Oval, 15% Heart" is far more honest and useful than just "Oval." Would love to hear what you think. What would make this more useful for you?
