Windows opens publicly at the end of August 2026, with macOS and Linux planned later.

I built Fabylon Bookmaker because a poem is not simply text poured into a page template. Lineation, white space, rhythm and typography carry meaning, yet most publishing software cannot read any of that. The aim is a free local-first workspace in which close reading and book production inform each other. The Windows public opening is planned for the end of August 2026. I would especially value rigorous feedback from poets, book designers and small presses: where does your current workflow still flatten the book?
