This started purely out of my own obsession with finding cool, off-the-beaten-path spots to explore. I’d spend hours scrolling around Google Maps, dropping pins, or just driving and seeing where I ended up. Some of the best places I’ve ever found were totally random but then I’d forget them, or struggle to remember how to get back. So I built this app just for me. Somewhere I could save the places I’d been, track where I wanted to go next, and slowly build my own personal map of adventures. This is purely a passion project. But the more I used it, the more I realised how useful it could be for other people who are into the same thing. So now I’m opening it up and hoping to grow it with others who love discovering new places too. Currently, I have this as a web app only. Looking to develop it for mobile also.
