The application is still in early development, and the features were still quite simple and fundamental.
In addition, this platform is a bit experimental. I build it because I am interest in learning GenAI, and the best way to learn it is to build a real product with it to fulfill my own (and hopefully others) needs! Throughout this process, I learnt a lot, and planning to share more about the technical details later.

I want to know where my money was spent and ExpenseLM give me a simple tool for expense tracking, without the need of manual input data. The agent is useful. But what I like the most is the MCP server, so that I can use Perplexity to help analyse my expense, provide advice by reading the expense data I logged with ExpenseLM.
What needs improvement
The agent is a bit limited and only available on web app, not on mobile
MCP server only available for Claude and Perplexity
vs Alternatives
Simple and just what I need. No need to connect to my card or bank account like some other products did. I like the MCP server that allows me to chat with my AI agent for expense related questions. It also log expense down to item level, with the shop address as well.
