This is a relaunch with new android and IOS apps, Great UX changes now to see if it is powerful enough to get me away from the computer. I like the custom exercise plans reminds me of @fittrapp in some ways.

@flipfilter Thanks for checking us out! Love the insights. Looking forward to you taking Tyler up on his suggestions. Great input, @tyler_spraul!

@tracyingram Thanks for taking an interest in our release. What would you say interests you more - programmed workouts (ie 4-week plan) or one-off workouts?
Tracy Ingram
@jeffreycrews its hard to say mostly I like having a plan so I don't look like a fool in the gym. It seems everyone is on their phones these days so mostly 1 off plans until I get in the habit but the 4 week sounds better for people who are already at it.

Having previously tried all (... I mean ALL) the poorly put together alternatives on Google play this seems to be a great solution. 1) There's a clear separation between people using these apps for bodybuilding and people using it for fitness. As the former, I found most of the mobile workout apps a poor fit as their emphasis was on fitness (tracking weight, heart rate, distances etc) as opposed to providing the bodybuilding basics - workout variety and weight / rep tracking. I haven't seen the android version yet, but the desktop version seems appealing on those two criteria. 2) I'm not sure if other customers would have this use case too but it would be a conversion-worthy feature if the pro version allowed you to convert a page to a workout. For example, you visit a forum or blog that publishes Mr XYX's workout plan. Most workout plans are relatively standardized in their format (exercises, weights, reps and days). If the app was able to parse this and convert it into a custom plan it would save me 50 minutes plus manually creating it on a mobile app as I'm doing now.

@flipfilter Have you gotten to check out the Android app yet? I think you'll like the specific sets, reps, and rest times you can implement. As a bodybuilder, you'd probably also like the displays of volume over time on the web views. The workout plan creator (web) can definitely save you tons of time if it's taking 50 minutes to create a workout plan now. Here is what it looks like: http://support.exercise.com/know... Once your workout plan is saved on the web, it will be accessible from the apps. The challenge I see in your suggestion would be that sometimes people have different names for the same exercise, so it could be tough to automate. Definitely an interesting idea, though!

The customer support is great. They are agile and work with their customers to make the platform work in many different ways. Tyler has been so helpful handling all our requests for features and advising us on how to maximize our use of the platform. They are constantly updating things to make it even better with their workout programming and business management reports.
