Hey Product Hunt, I built Executive Council because I kept running into a problem with AI that bothered me. When I already had a view on an important decision, it was remarkably easy to get an AI to validate it. But that isn't what I needed. For difficult decisions, I wanted the opposite: independent perspectives, genuine disagreement, arguments being challenged, and someone checking whether the eventual recommendation was actually supported by the evidence. That became Executive Council. You bring it one consequential decision and the context that matters. Independent perspectives form their positions, challenge each other's reasoning and can revise their views. A recommendation emerges from that deliberation, and the important claims behind it are then checked against the evidence. The disagreement isn't hidden. What you keep is a Decision Record containing the recommendation, reasoning, evidence and dissent, so months later you can still understand why you made the call. Push back on the answer and the whole council re-deliberates rather than rewording its last reply. It is deliberately not designed to make the decision for you. The judgement stays yours. A run takes five to nine minutes, because the seats genuinely research, argue and revise.
