Excelerator Password 2.0: Lock and unlock Excel workbooks without opening Excel

I built Excelerator Password because I kept running into the same repetitive workflow: opening Excel workbooks, entering the same client password, changing the protection, saving, closing, and doing it all over again. What started as a simple way to remove those repetitive steps grew into a focused Mac utility for recurring workbook work. With 2.0, I wanted the app to do more of the thinking. You can add a mix of supported Excel files, and Excelerator determines whether each one needs to be locked, unlocked, or modernized. Client passwords can be saved securely in macOS Keychain, and the actual workbook processing happens locally on your Mac without needing to open Excel. A big priority throughout development has been file safety. Excelerator only replaces a modern workbook after processing succeeds, and failed processing leaves the original unchanged. This is my first app, and I've spent a lot of time refining both the workflow and the Mac experience. I'd genuinely love feedback from people who deal with password-protected Excel files regularly—especially repetitive client or business workflows.
