After more than 20 years in talent acquisition, I've noticed something that hasn't changed much.
When an employer needs help hiring, the process is often surprisingly manual. They search Google, ask for referrals, visit multiple staffing agency websites, make phone calls, send emails, and hope they find the right partner.
At the same time, staffing agencies spend countless hours on business development, cold outreach, and trying to get in front of employers who may not even be hiring.
It made me wonder...
The reverse-auction idea is clever and I can see how it cuts down on spam for employers. One thing I'd love as a hiring manager is a built-in scorecard showing each agency's past fill rate, time-to-hire, and candidate retention by industry. That kind of performance data would make it way easier to pick a real winner instead of just going with whoever sends the first polished pitch.
@denzelwashington That is actually in the site. Once the community is growing and thriving and employers are using the site, you will be able to see a live scorecard showing those exact things, even response rates, and how many times they have been hired.
Posted a hiring need for a marketing role and got three solid agency proposals within a day way easier than chasing recruiters myself. The competitive setup feels like it actually saves time.

Posted a hiring need and got two solid agency matches within a day, which saved me a ton of cold outreach. The competitive angle actually feels useful rather than gimmicky.
@cindyrawford Thank you for the comment
Love the concept of having agencies compete for the role, that flips the usual dynamic in a smart way. One idea that would make it even better: add a short intro video or voice note option when agencies submit their pitch. A 30 second intro from a real recruiter feels way more personal than just a resume dump, and it would help employers pick faster.
@wendy_arabella That's a great idea!
