I built Everlasting Email because I kept putting off the things I actually wanted to say to my family. Figured I'd never get around to it, so I built something that does it for me.

It's pretty simple. You write a message now - a letter, some photos, a video - and pick when it goes out:

When two people you trust both enter a code.
If you stop checking in (Auto-Delivery). You tap the app every so often to say you're ok, and if the taps stop your Trusted Contact gets asked to confirm before anything is sent. They can't read anything, they just say yes or no.
Or on a date, like a 21st birthday or a wedding day.

The person receiving it doesn't need an app or an account, it just turns up as an email.

It's not intended to replace a will, or to hold passwords or legal docs - that can be left for the lawyers. It's for the words, not the paperwork.

Free plan covers your first message, no card needed. Everything's encrypted, no ads, no tracking, nothing gets sold.

I'm a solo founder and built the whole lot - web, iOS, Android, all the AWS stuff - with help from Claude. It's in 5 languages, there's a guided tour for your first message, tutorial videos for everything, and an AI help assistant that answers all questions from the help docs (and can check your own account if you let it - it never sees your messages). As the anticipated target audience might be in their twilight years, I put a lot of effort into making it as simple as possible.
