What's great

Two years, two annual conferences, multiple workshops, zero event-day disasters. We run events for a nonprofit association of opioid treatment providers in Texas, and Eventleaf handles our registration, payments, badges, check-in, and attendee app in one place. It is simple enough that whoever is at the front desk can run it, even a volunteer who has never seen the system. Our most recent conference had 161 registrations and check-in never backed up. The team behind it is responsive and worked with us on nonprofit pricing without any hassle.

What needs improvement

The plan tiers are rigid. Adding a single feature like email campaigns means moving up a full plan level rather than adding it on, which is a bigger jump than a small organization needs. Built-in reporting is also basic, so I still export to a spreadsheet for anything beyond headcount and revenue.

vs Alternatives

The alternative was the setup we had before: an online form, a separate payment link, a spreadsheet, and hand-made badges. We also looked at the larger enterprise event platforms and they were priced for organizations many times our size. Eventleaf covered everything we needed at a cost a small nonprofit could justify, and it has scaled with us as attendance has grown.

After being unhappy with RegOnline/Cvent, we tried Eventleaf—and haven’t looked back! We’ve used it for both in-person and virtual conferences and swear by it. It’s easy to use, and the few times we’ve had questions the customer service people have been very helpful with answers, fixes, and even taking our suggestions for functionality. The professional event page is a huge asset for our event, as is the easy-to-use app (which we’ve also used to host a virtual conference for over 400 people). Registration is both easy to make and customizable to even the quirkiest of registration setups. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful yet easy-to-use registration tool.

Too Creative! Easy registration and a splendid design. I use it for virtual events, and it works like a charm for me.
