Hello, Product Hunt! :) The initial purpose behind making evader was to use it as an educational aid, to teach module-oriented, interactive UI architecture. Over the course of its development, Evader became its own little thing; a complete game with two different game modes; a game randomiser (for enemy positions, and speeds); and additional bells and whistles — audio/visual themes, locally-persisted stats, etc... Hope you have fun with checking out, and playing the game! You're free to clone the source of the game, and do with it whatever you see fit. :)

This game is minimal but well designed. You can test your mousing dexterity & the randomiser feature is a great touch.

@joshua_mathew3 Thank you, Joshua! :)
Zachary Jordan
Nice game. Really like the sound design!

@zachary_jordan1 Thanks for playing the game, Zachary! I'm glad you like it! :) The BGM track in the game is called Land on the Golden Gate, by Chris Zabriskie (https://chriszabriskie.bandcamp....). I have been a huge fan of Chris's work for a few years now. One of my favourite albums of his, is called Cylinders, same ethereal/meditative ambience as the BGM — https://chriszabriskie.bandcamp....

Minimal and strangely addictive. So far my high score is 27 seconds. What about you? 😄
