All-in-one fantasy esports for the gamer in us all. Built by MIT/Cal-Tech data scientists using predictive modeling, we’ve architected precise team & players rankings, event scoring and more. The future of entertainment is here!
@sethbwilliams glad you asked! We'd love to see F1 and Fifa come to life on our platform in the future. We're working towards supporting all major game titles and be the premier leader in fantasy for all of esports.
There are TWO main factors we're taking into consideration when deciding which game titles to support next:
1) Our Tech + Data Pipelines: The game stats that we rely on to build the scoring, player salaries, rankings, and prediction algorithms are mainly derived from our proprietary Computer Vision / Machine Learning / Reinforcement Learning tech (built by our brilliant team of Caltech PHD engineers). Our Tech is already trained on several titles, so the infrastructure is there to allow us to spin up a rich fantasy experience for a few more in addition to LoL. At the moment, our CV/ML is fully trained on League of Legends, Overwatch, COD, and Dota2. We're in the process of training additional titles as well.
2) The Community's Input: We're letting the community dictate which game titles E1 Fantasy will support next. We are extremely community-driven, as we have been building and running several esports community products for years (esportspedia.com, esportscalendar.com, Onebot - the #1 Esports Discord Bot, and Oracles Elixir). We have made our roadmap public and have included a section where users can recommend and upvote features they'd like to see us build and new titles they're most excited for us to support. You can read more about our Roadmap philosophy here: https://esportsone.com/blog/intr...
Since it's not already on there, we'd love for you to add Fifa & F1 to the list: https://e1.canny.io/
Hope this helps!

Great stuff! I was wondering, are there plans to introduce different game modes? Obviously the core basics of fantasy would still be the same, but other things can be different such as winning factors, what nets you points, etc. Overall though this is very easy to use and fun to play with. Kudos to the team behind it!
@natsu1 Thank you! Yes we definitely have plans to offer more unique and varying game modes, including incorporating new esports titles. I have played Fantasy Sports all my life, and even worked in the industry for a few years before joining the Data Science team at E1. It is very important to have one 'standard mode' of playing, but I have seen the fun and value that new game modes, scoring settings, competitive structure, etc. can provide fans and we plan to bring all of that over to esports!

The interface looks really clean, and being a fan of fantasy esports, I think this is exactly what I needed especially with sites like Alphadraft going down, this looks really good. Is this able for like a long-term fantasy system, similar to like a whole season as traditional sports are like?
@will_hjelte Speaking as E1's Product Manager, this is definitely something we want to add in the future. In fact, it's one of our most requested features! If you (or anyone else) is interested, our roadmap is completely public and can be found here: https://feedback.esportsone.com/
We take community feedback very seriously :)

@sean_e_shannon Thank you so much Sean! Its been a journey for real - we've loved getting your feedback as one of our most active users throughout Spring Split 2020! Lol we've probably had 5 team meetings where we've thoroughly worked through implementing feedback you've sent us! Keep em coming
@sean_e_shannon real quick, since you've had experience with our product firs hand... what are your favorite parts of the platform? Pleas do share!

It's about time someone does this right and honestly no better time to then now. Excited to see how this evolves because I can see it going in so many directions outside of just expanding titles. What other plans do you guys have in mind? Do you have plans for different types of competitions, tournaments, prizes, etc.?

Clean interface, the team take feedback well and develop on that feedback. The community has been very pleasant and helpful to those new to League or Fantasy. Great work, cant wait to see more games and leagues included!
@headopener A core principle since the beginning has been to value the communities needs above yours and that all you have to do is listen and they will tell you what to build. I'm a huge advocate of doing things that don't scale when your starting a company. Talking to each and every user is one of those things that for most companies won't scale, but for us, we will always put their needs and experiences above our own.
I founded Esports One a couple of years ago with the goal of bringing real-time stats & data to the esports industry without relying on game publishers. If you look at traditional sports - live, data-driven stats and visualizations are essential to any broadcast. I thought it was crazy that esports, an entirely digital form of competition, didn’t have the same in their competitive broadcasts.
Long story short, we built some pretty incredible computer vision to capture what’s happening live in a game and married it with machine learning to drive predictive insights, like a 90% accuracy predicting who will win a game within 10 minutes of starting. We worked with big hitters in the industry like Riot Games, Twitch, and Acer to provide real-time data as a service, powering products for live game casters, coaching platforms, and viewers of live esports streams.
All this time spent working with stats & data in esports led us to realize something: There wasn’t a truly awesome fantasy esports product in the marketplace, and we just might be the right team to build it.
Fast forward a few crazy months of development, beta testing with our community, and iterating on the product - and we’re finally ready to open E1 Fantasy’s beta to the public! If you’ve been missing out on sports and your fantasy league during this crazy time, now’s your chance to give fantasy esports a try. Any feedback is appreciated!
Happy Fantasy-ing!
