Hi guys! I am the project manager for the eReader Prestigio: Book Reader app for Android (sorry iOS folks). I wanted to present our application to view and review, to enjoy and criticise (we don't live in a perfect world, there are flaws) - if you are the later, please don't hesitate - tell me what is not logical or easy to use in the app or if you have any ideas - always glad to hear and improve. So, lets talk about the app. 28 languages support, In-App Book purchases (50,000 books are now online - not many these days, sorry, we kinda had a fight with our content provider, so we are looking for new ones - if you have suggestions, will be glad to hear).
We recently integrated Text-To-Speech support for the application - great feature when your eyes are dead tired of reading, or you are in a metro or a car. I personally use to read some business books - we are using Google Text-To-Speech as a standard, but we are looking to integrate new ones.
✔ Supported formats - HTML, FB2, FB2.ZIP, TXT, PDF, EPUB, MOBI, EPUB3, DJVU & audio formats
✔ Cloud support - you can upload/download books and files to and from the app using Google Drive, One Drive and Dropbox in the app
✔ Material Design and Simple navigation - we are sticking to Google standards of Lollipop, but Marshmallow is on the way ;)
✔ Tons of settings while reading - background, colour, borders, margins, page-turning style, night mode - go crazy, you are the boss.
✔ Android Home Widget - yeap, called "Recents" in the widgets sections, you can put on your home screen 3 recents books you reading
✔ File Manager - will help you easily determine where a book or text file is located on your device and add it to the eReader.
✔ Synchronise your books and text files - create My Prestigio ID account and can synchronise your reading Bookmarks
✔ Themes - Side Menu -> Themes - 5 themes standard + its winter season so we have added a winter theme, and we will be introducing new ones too.
So usually once a month, after we make the update, I go on Air with Google Hangout to talk about the latest updates and the plans for the near future.
