Hello Product Hunt! I am extremely excited to have finally been able to launch this product and to be continually building on and improving it. The modeling behind EquitySet stemmed from a career in financial markets as a trader at a hedge fund over 10 years ago. Ever interested in a way to simplify all the "noise" and provide reliable signals that could potentially be used as buy and sell signals for an equity, the idea was born. The project ended up taking a back seat to life and all that comes with that, but over the last year and a half we have worked to not only bring the ratings model to a live product, but are super stoked about everything else in the pipeline (iOS and Android app, educational resources, deeper data, easier company tracking, rating and price performance analytics, etc). The end goal is to give back and help to educate and empower the retail investor community. With investing as popular as ever because of the advent of commission free trading and ease of access, I have found a lack in the resources and tools that help to really to combine unbiased research and reports with learning. We are early on in our product cycles and like any new platform we have no shortage of ideas we are working to bring to a reality. We truly want to build the product around needs that retail investors have that intersect with our strengths of modeling, UI and insights...and that means that feedback is invaluable to us.
