Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Orel, a software engineer who’s probably a bit too obsessed with automation. The inspiration for envs.ai came from a place of pure frustration—"Configuration Hell." I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve wasted chasing bugs that turned out to be a typo in a .env file or a secret that wasn't synced between team members. I realized that while we have great tools for code and deployment, we’re still basically passing around secrets in Slack or manual files like it's 2005. The problem I wanted to solve was simple: Make environment management invisible so we can get back to building. Initially, I thought about building something complex for enterprise, but as I worked on it, my process evolved toward simplicity. I wanted a lightweight hub that feels like a natural extension of the dev workflow, not another heavy tool to manage. It’s encrypted, synced, and built for people who, like me, believe that if you have to do it twice, it should’ve been a script yesterday.
