Listen to calming rain, forest, and ocean soundscapes. Build your custom ambient mix for deep focus, stress relief, and restful sleep with Environmentt.
👋 Hey Product Hunt! I'm Zubair, maker of Environmentt 🌿
A few months ago, I realized something.
Whenever I needed to focus, sleep, read, or simply disconnect for a while, I'd spend more time searching for the right ambient sounds than actually relaxing.
Most apps felt bloated—too many buttons, subscriptions everywhere, accounts to create, playlists to manage, AI features I never asked for.
I just wanted nature.
So I built Environmentt.
It's a simple app that lets you create your own peaceful environment by blending beautiful recordings of rain, forests, oceans, and many more natural soundscapes.
🌧️ What you can do
🎚️ Mix multiple nature sounds together with individual volume controls
🌊 Explore 100+ premium-quality nature recordings
⭐ Save your favorite sound combinations
😴 Use it for sleep, deep work, meditation, reading, or simply taking a break
⚡ No unnecessary complexity—just open the app and press play
Every sound has been chosen to feel warm, immersive, and calming. My goal wasn't to build another productivity app—it was to create a small corner of the internet where people can slow down for a few minutes.
As an indie maker, I designed and built Environmentt from scratch because I genuinely wanted something I'd use every single day.
I'd absolutely love your feedback:
What sounds would you like to see next?
What would make your perfect ambient environment?
Anything you'd improve?
I'll be here throughout the day answering every question and would really appreciate your support. ❤️
Thank you for checking out Environmentt and I hope it helps you find a little more calm in your day. 🌿

Does the custom ambient mix let me layer as many sounds as I want, or is there a cap on how many tracks you can combine at once before it gets muddy?

Can you save your custom mixes to use across devices, or do you have to rebuild them every time you switch from your phone to your laptop?

Love the custom mix idea, that is what sold me on it. One thing that would help me actually use it daily is a sleep timer that gently fades the sounds out over a set window, like 20 or 45 minutes, so I am not waking up at 3am to turn it off.

Tried layering rain with distant thunder over a coffee shop hum and it actually helped me power through a long writing session without reaching for my phone.

The layering of multiple nature sounds without them muddying together is genuinely impressive, you can actually hear the rain texture sitting cleanly under the ocean waves. That kind of mixing polish is rare in ambient apps.

The layering of the rain and ocean sounds feels incredibly natural, like they were recorded in the same place. The custom mix slider is a really thoughtful touch that sets it apart from the usual loop-and-go ambient apps.
