it sounds great, but i wonder how it differs to whatsapp, is there a unique selling point, like the ability to integrate other services like slack. what im asking is, what can this provide that whatsapp cant

The main diff is, unlike Whatsapp and other consumer services, ET is an app that is running your "own"server and there is no data mining or sharing with third parties. Your friends do not have to be a user in your server or do they need to have their own ET instance to talk to you. The real selling points are privacy, security and data ownership. Current version is not integrated with any other service, but we have plans to integrate with other apps like Patient Management Software or Salesforce et. al.
