As an independent inventor, I was tired of ad-bloated daily games, so I built EnigWord—a clean, tactile puzzle inspired by physical combination locks. Instead of typing, you slide vertical letter strips to reveal hidden words. It’s bilingual (EN/FR), 100% free with zero trackers, and built with Vanilla JS for instant loading. I made this for word lovers and puzzle fans looking for a quiet daily brain teaser. Would love your feedback!

Hello everyone,
I built EnigWord because I’ve always loved word puzzles, but I wanted to create something distinct from standard keyboard-driven games. Inspired by physical combination locks and Enigma machines, I set out to design a tactile, lightweight daily puzzle where you slide letter strips to realign a hidden word. I also wanted to offer a quiet, respectful web experience: 100% free, zero ads and no trackers.
Up until now, I’ve playtested EnigWord mainly within my personal circle of family and friends. While their input was invaluable for building the foundation, I’ve now reached the point where I need feedback from people outside my network to help me fine-tune the game.
I’d love your honest feedback on a few key aspects:
Tactile feel: How does sliding the letter strips feel on your mobile device or desktop?
Difficulty & balance: How did today’s puzzle feel in terms of challenge and pacing?
UI/UX: Did you notice any friction points, navigation issues, or clarity gaps?
Thank you for giving EnigWord a try. I’ll be here to read your comments and answer any questions.
