ENHANCE: Brain Training in VR

Happy belated New Year everyone! I know some of you might ask the question: “WAIT, wasn’t brain training debunked years ago?" Yes and no. It’s true that screen-based apps like Lumosity haven’t shown any conclusive evidence to make you any sharper in your daily activities, but VR isn’t confined to a screen and the scientific community is keen to see whether the multi-sensory and embodied experience that it offers will offer the magic bullet. We just released our first white paper with 74 citations of peer-reviewed research to illustrate why there is strong evidence to support that VR will take cognitive assessment and training to the next level, and that’s why we think Enhance VR brain training is going to prove. http://bit.ly/enhance-research So where are we now? Since launching the prerelease version in October, we have made a lot of improvements to the artwork and overall look and feel of the app and gaming experiences. We have made positive tweaks to the game balancing, UX, and added a game localization system to facilitate the launch of the Chinese version in partnership with the HTC Viveport team. We have also released a data dashboard web application that allows organizations like senior living communities, hospitals, clinics, as well as schools and companies, to manage and monitor the cognitive performance of their communities.
