I'm hoping to get some feedback about our product - we believe it takes the experience of youtube consumption (which so many youths are addicted to) and adds a fun layer of tools and engagement so viewers can learn English. We've just added the ability to schedule tutors on demand - like a video? Just click a button and schedule a session with a tutor to talk about it.
The product grew from the vision of using proprietary speech recognition technology (founder a former Nuance executive) as a fun way to get students practicing their English and getting feedback. Over 10,000 video lessons of all levels/categories. We publish over 30 new a week and keep topical - music, travel, business, news etc....
Our app is special, especially how powerful the mics are in smartphones. We are currently used by thousands of companies and schools, many as a white labeled product. But are very excited about our tutor product and free level test with a live teacher for all registered users.
Learning English is mandatory for many in today's economy. We hope our product is helping so many who need a hand up.
