English Jobs is a fantastic platform because it makes finding international career opportunities much easier for English-speaking professionals. Instead of searching across multiple websites, users can explore thousands of job openings from different European countries in one place and apply directly through the hiring company's official career page. The platform's focus on English-speaking roles removes a major barrier for many job seekers and creates a more streamlined, transparent, and user-friendly job search experience. Its simplicity, accessibility, and practical value make it a highly useful resource for anyone looking to build a career in Europe.
English Jobs already has a clear niche focus, but there are several areas where it can be improved to make it more competitive and useful compared to platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, or Otta.
One major improvement area is job authenticity and verification. The platform would benefit from stronger checks to ensure listings are real, updated, and not duplicated or outdated, which builds user trust and reduces wasted applications.
Another key area is better personalization and matching. Instead of only filtering by “English-speaking roles,” it could use smarter recommendations based on skills, experience level, preferred industry, and career goals—similar to how curated platforms like Otta work.
The platform could also improve search and filtering options, such as adding salary ranges, visa sponsorship clarity, remote/hybrid tags, and seniority level filters. These details are often critical for job seekers and are sometimes missing or inconsistent on niche boards.
Additionally, the user experience and engagement features could be enhanced by adding saved searches, job alerts, application tracking, and a dashboard to manage opportunities in one place, making it more than just a listing site.
Finally, building trust and transparency signals, such as company profiles, reviews, or hiring insights, would make it more competitive with Glassdoor-style platforms and increase confidence among users.
Overall, the platform can become much stronger by moving from a simple curated job listing site to a more intelligent, personalized, and trust-driven job discovery system.
I chose English Jobs because it focuses specifically on English-speaking roles in Europe, which makes the job search more targeted and less overwhelming compared to general platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed. On larger job boards, I often spend a lot of time filtering through irrelevant listings, but this platform narrows the options by prioritizing roles where English is the primary working language, which improves efficiency. It also presents opportunities in a more structured way, making it easier to quickly understand key details like location, role type, and requirements. Overall, I preferred it because it reduces noise in the job search process and provides a more focused and relevant set of opportunities compared to broader, less specialized alternatives.
English Jobs is a thoughtfully designed platform that simplifies the search for English-speaking career opportunities worldwide. The product solves a real problem by bringing together high-quality, relevant job listings in one focused marketplace, helping candidates avoid the clutter of traditional job boards.
The user experience is intuitive, the value proposition is clear, and the niche focus makes the platform genuinely useful for both job seekers and employers. In an increasingly global workforce, English Jobs has the potential to become a go-to destination for professionals seeking international opportunities and companies hiring across borders. A well-executed product with strong market relevance and impressive execution.
The product already has a strong foundation, but there is room to enhance the overall experience further. Advanced filtering options, personalized job recommendations powered by AI, salary transparency where available, and deeper company insights could make the platform even more valuable. Features such as application tracking, saved search alerts, and skill-based matching would also strengthen user engagement and help candidates navigate opportunities more effectively. These enhancements could elevate an already promising platform into a category-leading solution.
I explored several job boards and career platforms featured on Product Hunt, including AI-powered job search and recruitment tools. What made English Jobs stand out was its clear focus and simplicity. While many alternatives offer broad feature sets, English Jobs delivers a more streamlined and relevant experience by concentrating on English-speaking opportunities. Its focused approach reduces noise, improves job relevance, and makes the platform immediately useful for both job seekers and employers.
What I think was the right decision is that they don't own the application flow at all ,every listing takes you directly to the employer's original ATS page. Most job platforms try to keep candidates inside their own system to track conversions and collect data, but here you always end up at the source. That probably costs them some analytics, but it feels much more transparent and candidate-friendly.
The ATS indexing is also more interesting than it first appears. They're pulling directly from company career pages, which means they can surface roles that never make it to LinkedIn or Indeed.
What also surprised me was the set of tools built around the job search. The salary calculator, Blue Card eligibility checker, cost-of-living comparison, and German-specific cover letter generator go beyond helping someone find a job. Relocating to another country involves a lot more decisions than just applying, and these tools make the platform feel much more complete.
One thing I noticed on the methodology page is how expired jobs are handled. It mentions that closed jobs are removed from indexing, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're removed from the site immediately. That could create a situation where a candidate finds a role, spends time preparing an application, and only then discovers the position is already closed.
I've actually run into this issue quite a few times on platforms like Unstop and Indeed, where a listing looks active but turns out to be unavailable after clicking through. It's one of the most frustrating parts of the job search process.
I'm curious how quickly closed jobs are removed in practice. Is there any automatic system that detects inactive listings, or does it mainly depend on updates from the source?
I use LinkedIn, Indeed, and Unstop, but even after applying filters, I often end up opening roles that still require German or another local language somewhere in the job description. What I like about English Jobs is that it tries to solve this problem at the source instead of simply adding another filter. The job listings feel more focused, which makes the search process much cleaner and less time-consuming.
English Jobs makes it much easier for international candidates to discover English-speaking opportunities across Europe without needing to search multiple job boards. I like the clean interface and the direct application approach, which saves time and reduces unnecessary steps. The concept is especially useful for job seekers looking for global opportunities. Looking forward to seeing more filters, personalized recommendations, and additional country coverage as the platform grows. Great initiative and a valuable resource for professionals exploring careers abroad.
Add AI-powered job recommendations based on skills and experience.
Include salary range information for more job listings.
Add application tracking to monitor submitted applications.
Provide visa sponsorship and relocation filters.
Introduce personalized job alerts and notifications.
Expand country-specific insights about work permits and hiring requirements.
Overall, the platform already provides a valuable solution for international job seekers, and these additions could make the experience even more powerful.
I looked at general job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other international job platforms. I chose English Jobs because it focuses specifically on English-speaking opportunities in Europe, making the search process more targeted and efficient. Instead of filtering through thousands of listings, the platform helps users quickly find relevant roles where language is less of a barrier.
What stood out to me is that English Jobs solves a very specific problem that most job boards ignore. Many international candidates spend time applying for roles only to discover later that local language skills are required. By focusing on genuinely English-friendly opportunities and linking directly to company career pages, the platform removes a lot of unnecessary friction. I also appreciated the transparency around the methodology and limitations, which makes the product feel more trustworthy. Congrats on the launch!
It would be great to see more filters around remote work, visa sponsorship, and company size as the platform grows. A confidence score showing how likely a role is to be genuinely English-friendly could also be a useful addition. Overall, it's a strong first version with a clear value proposition.
Most job boards focus on volume, while English Jobs focuses on relevance. Instead of searching through thousands of listings and trying to guess whether a role is truly accessible to English speakers, the platform makes that information easier to identify upfront. The direct application links and focus on international candidates make it more useful than a generic job board for people looking for opportunities across Europe.
The stress can be huge for non-native speakers looking for tech and corporate jobs that conform to global language standards. This platform is a beautiful bridge to that gap, by making discovery of English-first positions seamless. The UI is so easy to navigate and filtering jobs based on succinct communication requirements saves us tons of manual screening time.
I think it would be great to have an integrated lightweight AI voice or text assessment feature where candidates can practice or benchmark their professional English proficiency directly against a specific job description before applying. This would be such a confidence boost to applicants!
I used to check out those generalized platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed or regional job boards. However, specifically filtering for international friendly English-speaking environments on those platforms is incredibly tedious and often inaccurate. English Jobs tackles this by focusing on language alignment from the start."I've got to get to the store before it closes. I need to pick up some milk and a few other things for dinner. I'll be back in an hour or so. I love you. Bye!.
The product allows end users to search and apply for jobs without local language requirements and much needed ease in job hunting in global language (English) oriented jobs for international candidates through various job roles and categories provided with respect to specified domain. Features that are sounding:
Basic and simple UI for navigating huge amounts of information regarding companies, job roles, recruiters, etc. Such that users could figure out manually what's best for them.
Exploration of different job opportunities in various job domains and roles for international candidates preferring English as first language across European countries.
It would be much more useful and easier for end users if they are accompanied through an AI mode job assistance or an AI driven listing of available job roles, companies based on various factors or filters as provided in the platform beforehand such that one could find compatible jobs with global language based on their educational qualifications and skills, that may be achieved through the data from the user's resumes or credentials. Also live tracking of whole selection process levels till final employment could be better
Although people could find regarding English only job opportunities through online web or any other available source while having all hectic and minor issues to deal with, The major one being tracking live updates and availability of the particular job or position that one
Our platforms acts as a single step solution for all the job related opportunities dealing with all those fuss and aligns best with the preferred or specific language anomaly across Europe which acts as a barrier, mostly for international job seekers.
English Jobs solves a real problem for international job seekers looking for opportunities in Europe. I like the simple and direct application process that takes candidates straight to the employer's website. The focus on English-speaking roles makes the platform especially useful for people who are relocating or starting their careers abroad. The interface is easy to use, and the additional relocation-related resources add extra value. Looking forward to seeing how the AI-powered recruiter matching features evolve.
It would be helpful to provide more information about how jobs are classified as English-friendly and to add additional filtering options for visa sponsorship, remote work, and experience level. These improvements could make the platform even more useful for international candidates.
I considered using general job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed, but English Jobs provides a more focused experience for finding English-speaking opportunities in Europe, which makes the search process simpler and more relevant.
As someone looking for international opportunities, English Jobs has been an absolute game-changer. The biggest pain point with global job hunting is filtering out roles that require local language fluency. This platform does the heavy lifting for you. The interface is clean, the job updates are frequent, and it saves me hours of manual filtering every week.
It would be amazing to see more advanced filtering options, such as sorting by specific timezone overlap requirements for remote roles, or adding a direct salary filter where available. A daily/weekly email alert tailored to specific job categories would also be a great addition.
I used to browse LinkedIn, Indeed, and various remote job boards using keyword hacks like 'English speaking,' but the results were always cluttered with irrelevant positions or hidden local language requirements. I chose English Jobs because it’s entirely dedicated to this specific niche, making the search much more efficient.
English Jobs is useful because it removes one of the biggest sources of friction in international job searching: identifying opportunities where English is genuinely sufficient to work and apply, while providing direct access to employers through their official hiring channels.
More transparency around visa sponsorship and advanced search filters would significantly improve the job discovery experience.
I chose English Jobs over broader platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed because it focuses on a very specific challenge: finding opportunities in Europe where English is genuinely sufficient for work. On larger job boards, I often spend a lot of time time filtering through roles that match my skills but ultimately require local language proficiency or have unclear requirements for international candidates. English Jobs removes much of that uncertainty by itself filtering opportunities specifically for English-speaking professionals.
What I found out very helpful to me is the platform's simplicity and transparency. Rather than acting as an intermediary it directs users to the employer's official careers page making the application process more straightforward and trustworthy.I think the combination of focused job discovery and reduced search noise and direct access to employers makes it a more efficient option for international candidates such as myself than many general purpose job boards.
