Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Emote because every "share how you feel" app I tried turned into another feed to perform on — likes, followers, public posts that stick around forever. Emote is the opposite: pick a mood, add a note if you want, send it to your close friends (mutual-follow only), and it's gone in 24 hours. No public feed, no follower counts, no ads or tracking. Friends can send a private reaction back — a hug, a "same" — that only the two of you see. Your own moods aren't lost though — they build into a private color-coded diary just for you, so you can look back on how your months actually felt. This is a cool concept, love that it's truly private without all the social pressure. One thing I'd love to see is an option for friends to leave a quick voice note instead of just emoji reactions. Hearing a real "thinking of you" from a close friend after seeing their mood would feel way more personal and meaningful than tapping a face.
