Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m the maker of Elleven AI — and this started from a very real frustration.
I was constantly in meetings, saving YouTube videos, bookmarking articles to “read later”… and never actually catching up. Even when I did, turning those into actionable tasks was another layer of effort. Everything felt scattered — notes in one place, tasks in another, and insights lost in between.
So I asked a simple question:
What if everything just handled itself — privately, instantly, and without relying on the cloud?
That’s what led to Elleven AI.
I wanted something that could:
• Turn conversations into clear summaries immediately
• Summarize YouTube videos and long articles in minutes
• Save your meetings, videos, and articles in one place
• Let you chat with them or ask questions anytime to get instant answers and context
• Convert ideas into tasks without manual input
• Work even offline
• And most importantly — keep everything on-device and private
We also went all-in on the Apple ecosystem. Elleven AI is available across:
📱 iOS
📲 iPadOS
💻 macOS
🥽 visionOS
⌚️ watchOS
📺 tvOS
🚗 CarPlay
💬 iMessage
— so it’s always with you, wherever you are.
And we’ve deeply integrated Apple technologies to make it feel truly native:
Widgets, Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, App Intents, Dynamic Island, App Clips, and more — all designed to make capturing and accessing information instant and seamless.
The biggest shift during development was leaning fully into on-device AI. Instead of sending data to servers, we built around a local-first approach powered by Apple Intelligence. That decision shaped everything — from performance to privacy to UX.
It wasn’t the easiest route, but it made the product feel personal in a way cloud tools never did.
Now Elleven AI 26 is something I actually rely on every day — in meetings, while driving, and when catching up on videos or articles I’d normally never finish.
