EGUARD

eGUARD was built as a tool to enable: - A smarter way to manage spam and online threats. - Security conscious family members a tool to protect vulnerable family members who may fall victim phishing or data exfiltration attempts in today’s increasingly deceptive threat landscape. We combined the ability to run both local and cloud-based AI models depending on user hardware / requirements, analysing the natural language patterns commonly used in phishing attempts, in order to achieve greater accuracy than traditional spam filters. We’ve also added features we felt were missing from the native Gmail experience, such as clearer indicators when an email comes from someone outside your known contacts.
