There is a fair amount of content that is tailored toward different professional goal. The website is nice and easy to use however I removed 2 stars for: 1) The accuracy of the content: I spotted a bunch of issue in their courses, sometime the author is saying the positive of the truth. 2) Clarity of the content: the provided content is not always clear. It often lacks explanation or clarification. I've looked the experience of some of their contributors, according to their LinkedIn profile, they are not experienced software engineers. Some of them are actually straight out of university. Which shows on the content quality.

Educative has good courses and materials but their no refund policy is very scammy. They did not send an email to remind you that you will be resubscribed. Please stay away!

I was gonna give it 2 stars because the course was quite ok, but the problems outweigh the good parts. First of all, the annual membership gets renewed without any warning. I'm aware that's not a new tactic and many companies do the same, but that doesn't make it ok. Now comes the worst part: one of their course's modules, which I had already completed 80% of, started to throw an error on one of the last topics. It was not only annoying but it also broke the whole course because I couldn't navigate out of it to another topic. I could start other modules but I couldn't finish that one. When I sent them a message about it, they said it had been fixed. How they fixed it?? They replaced the whole module with a new one and I lost all my progress and potentially any notes I had made in the app! When I confronted them about that "fix", they just stopped messaging back. Very unprofessional, would never recommend!

Not worth it at all. Took the subscription and did not used it for more than a month. Moreover, the website has auto-renewal which automatically reviews your subscription even when you don't want it. You can't even get refund due to websites weird refund policy. This website is all a scam

High quality, lucid, and spot on courses for any software engineer preparing for interviews. Grokking the System Design Interview course is unanimously attested as the top course by almost anyone I have spoken to. I think the 'Grokking the Coding Interview: Patterns for Coding Questions' course is unique in its own way. You get to learn some common patterns that will help you in identifying the approach you need to take for any problem at hand. Overall, a great compendium of courses - just what the doctor ordered.

Cons: sometimes very superficial and not informative tutorials, many typos, playgrounds are too simple, quizzes are made like as just to be, mistakes in the given information. From my perspective you can find much better and free of charge articles on the internet. So, it isn't a good value for money, considering that much money they're asking for. Pros: easy to use, provides all relevant courses in one place, good coverage of topics.

I feel that this site has very, very superficial tutorials. The guidance on how to build applications is very sketchy, and you end up wasting time online to find solutions because they do not provide enough information. If you need support, it is very difficult to obtain, you can 'ask a question', which opens up a forum. The tool they give you to ask a question is just atrocious, almost impossible to use. I have definitely wasted my money.
