Leave crucial information in an encrypted vault for loved ones to find in case of death or emergencies. It ensures the people you trust most can access the guidance, words, or information they need to continue fostering your interests and legacy

Privacy First. Offline. Unbreakable
Hi everyone, I’m Akinola — the maker of EchoVaults.
EchoVaults was born from one question: “If something ever happened to me, how would my loved ones know what mattered most?”
I built EchoVaults as a fully offline, zero-server app that lets people store final wishes, important notes, and ultra-sensitive data — even after they’re gone. It’s a legacy vault that runs without internet, no signup, no ads, no tracking, just you and your device.
We use AES-256 GCM encryption, PBKDF2 key strengthening, and rely on the phone’s built-in full-disk encryption (FDE). It’s now trending on the App Store and fully open-source — because digital legacy should be free and transparent.
This isn’t a business. It’s a human project. Your feedback, support, and even silent encouragement means the world.

I’ll be in the comments all day if you want to ask anything or just share how you’d use it. Thanks for being here
@kynsofficial The fact that it operates entirely offline, without any tracking or reliance on the cloud, really shows how much you care about privacy. Huge props to you, Akinola.
I love the use of AES-256 GCM and PBKDF2. You’ve nailed security-first design 👏 Any chance you’ll add multi-device sync (still offline)?

@amber_nick Hi, thank you so much for your review, to answer your question, this will imply compromising our offline and always offline philosophy, we did give this a thought during development and the compromise suitable and close to what you requested is simply backing up encrypted zip of your Vaults in settings and restoring on another device.
Please bear with us.
I’d love to see an optional “legacy unlock” mode—where trusted contacts can unlock together, like a shared passkey quorum. Just a thought!

@summer_jack Nice thoughts, we will keep exploring possibilities.
This is something we really need. We often shy away from thinking about "what comes next," but EchoVaults makes it so much easier to prepare with intention and love. It’s truly meaningful work.
EchoVaults doesn’t just tackle a problem—it brings peace of mind. That alone is a powerful gift to leave behind.
I just downloaded it and went through the flow—it's simple, intuitive, and emotionally reassuring. It’s not often you find tech that feels this human.
EchoVaults connects technology and humanity in a way that’s hard to find. Thank you for creating this—not just as a product, but as a meaningful purpose.
