Hey Product Hunt 👋 Echo Room started as a hackathon project at DoraHacks 2.0 the original idea didn't fit the hackathon's categories, so I pivoted to this one. Then my team never showed up, so I ended up building the whole thing solo. The idea is simple: sometimes you just need to write down what's echoing in your head, and sometimes you need an actual person to talk to about it, not a feed, not an AI chatbot pretending to care. Echo Room does one thing, it gives you a quiet place to write, and matches you with someone real when you're ready to talk. Safety was non-negotiable given what people are trusting the space with every conversation has reporting, blocking, and AI-assisted screening behind it. Would genuinely love your feedback, especially on the matching experience, that's the part I'm most nervous and excited about.
