When it files something wrong, you move the note, and the correction feeds back into how the next one is filed. The raw transcript stays behind a toggle at the top of every note. A cleaned-up note you cannot check against what you actually said is not worth much. Recording, on-device transcription, keyword search and sync across devices are free, along with 25 AI-filed notes a month and a three-minute cap on a single note. Echo Pro removes the monthly limit, raises a note to fifteen minutes, and adds search by meaning, so a search for headache turns up the note where you said migraine. It is $39.99 a year with a 7-day trial, or $5.99 a month. Audio never leaves the phone. Only the transcript text goes up to be written and filed. Echo is iPhone only for now, and it keeps working offline. The part I most want feedback on is the auto-filing, so tell me where it puts a note somewhere you would not have.
