Every parts shopper asks the same thing first: will this fit my truck? EasyYMM answers it on the page. Upload your vehicles as a CSV, map SKUs in bulk or fit a whole collection at once, and shoppers filter your catalog by Year, Make and Model. Fitment is stored in your own Shopify metafields, and both the YMM filter and the per-product fitment widget install as theme blocks. No theme rebuild. For automotive, powersports, marine and equipment-parts stores.

👋 Hey Product Hunt — I built EasyYMM because "fits my car?" is the #1 question automotive and powersports shoppers ask, and Shopify has no native answer for it.
If you sell parts, accessories, tires, or anything vehicle-specific, your buyers don't browse by category — they browse by does this fit my 2019 Tacoma. Without fitment data, that's either a support ticket, a lost sale, or a return. EasyYMM turns your existing Shopify catalog into a real fitment-searchable store, no rebuild required.
How it works:
Upload your vehicle data. Drop in a CSV of Year/Make/Model rows (plus up to 4 custom attributes — trim, engine, drivetrain, whatever your catalog needs).
Map products to vehicles. Bulk-assign SKUs to vehicles via CSV, or fitment-map an entire collection at once — no need to touch products one by one.
Shoppers filter by their vehicle. A native storefront widget (Year → Make → Model dropdowns) filters your catalog live. A per-product fitment badge shows shoppers exactly what a listing fits before they click "add to cart."
Built for how Shopify merchants actually work:
Embedded admin app — lives inside Shopify, no separate dashboard to learn
Runs on Shopify's app proxy + product metafields, so fitment data stays native to your store, not bolted on
Theme App Extension blocks — drag the filter and fitment widgets into any theme section, no theme code edits
Plans scale from a 100-vehicle free tier up to 100k vehicles, so you're not paying enterprise pricing to test it out
Why we built it this way: Most fitment apps on the Shopify App Store assume you're starting from zero or force you into their catalog structure. EasyYMM was built to sit on top of what you already have — your products stay your products, we just add the fitment layer via metafields and a proxy-served filter, so nothing about your existing setup breaks.
Would love feedback from anyone running an automotive, powersports, marine, or equipment-parts store — what fitment features would make this a no-brainer for you?
