What do you think? …

Cosmin Cristian Ababei
Finally, an app for me!
Max Mirho
@cosmin_cristian_ababei Hahaha - my thoughts exactly!
Cristian Moisei
@cosmin_cristian_ababei Thanks Cosmin, I hope it helps you stay fit during the lockdown.

What a great idea, and great timing. I totally get the problem you're addressing, having always failed when I tried to take on big workout habits. How would you contrast this with 7-minute workout apps? I've been using Seven and it has been great for me. Is Core more focused on making sure the workout isn't intimidating and guiding beginners through the first phase of making it a habit?
Cristian Moisei
@colemanfoley Hey Coleman, I think the main thing setting it apart from 7-minute workout apps is the habit forming part. So Core will try to get you to form a habit of doing a workout you're comfortable with (regardless of how many minutes that takes) every day. I've been exercising like this myself with great results. There are also habit apps that could. help with this, but they don't have anything to help people get started working out.

@cristianmoisei Makes a lot of sense, thanks! I really like this approach. It reminds me of the book Tiny Habits. I liked that book because it has more of a warm and non-intimidating vibe than other habits-related stuff I've read. And it emphasizes that there's no such thing as starting too small. So this app seems like a great way to put that kind of thinking into practice. Would totally try it if I was an iPhone user, but I'm on Android. I think there is a huge amount of opportunity in this area, in making behavior change accessible and possible for *everybody*. And this looks like a great tool for it.
Cristian Moisei
@colemanfoley thanks for that. Unfortunately, yes this is iOS only at the time, but I'm glad to know how you'te thinking about the concept, and I hope to keep developing it in that direction. If people like it that is.
Cristian Moisei
Hey Product Hunt, I've spent the lockdown working on another side-project: An iOS fitness app that will take it slow and focus on building good habits, improving over time, and getting to your goals safely, rather than promising results ASAP and letting you figure out how it all works yourself. I'd love to know what you think.
Max Mirho
I'm lazy, and I need to work out. Sounds like I'm a perfect fit for this. :)
Cristian Moisei
@maxmirho1 I'd love to know what you think if you try it out Max. The idea is that instead of throwing a big workout at you, it helps you do a few minutes of work every day, and then slowly, over time, it becomes a habit, so it's much easier to get fit.
Andreea Manoli
Easy and fun to use. I recommend it
Cristian Moisei
@andreea_manoli Thanks Andreea
Collins Obasuyi

Cristian Moisei
@collins_obasuyi Thanks Collins, I hope it helps.

I'm not really a gym-person normally, so I loved the way this app kind of 'onboards' you into working out, teaching you basic exercises and suggesting routines.
