@michaelcarrano good question. Today, different startups have different procedures, regulations and processes to handle trademarked names "claiming" and squatting. This will not change. We don't/shouldn't define how a startup intends to operate its username policies. But the best way to avoid a mess is for google to get its a$$ in gear and signup too to earlyclaim ;)

I love this. After I waited too long and couldn't get my name on twitter, I've been worried about missing out on the next "twitter". This could also give new startups an audience of early adopters. Cool idea!
here we are guys! quick intro: made in Italy by me & @frnwtr. Sideproject to unplug , started with concept of fake-activity engine. 5 minutes later it got to what it is now. Already got enquiries from 4 startups to get hooked in. Seeing good number of senior level pros signing up, and an healthy share businesses/people (maybe 20/80). Thanks a lot for upvoting it and if you shared it / signed up, for doing so :)
I wonder how digital identities may one day affect the way people may name their kids i.e. see what names are still not taken. "No daughter of mine will need numbers in her Twitter handle"
@rockyita Already reserved @robin ;) Do you have longer term plans for this? It seems like the users would just stop registering after the name they want is gone
@RBilgil yes we do have a vision for earlyclaim :) but for now, it's all about executing the first step and bring extraordinary value to our users and startups!
