Hi everyone! Developer here 👋 I created Dynamic Notch because I felt MacBook Pro's notch was an underutilized space. Rather than letting it remain a "dead zone," I wanted to transform it into something functional and beautiful. The idea came from iPhone's Dynamic Island - that magical space that adapts to show you what matters. I thought: why not bring that same concept to Mac? The challenge was creating an interaction that feels natural without being intrusive. After many iterations, we landed on the hover-to-expand mechanic - it's there when you need it, hidden when you don't. What do you think?
