With Dupli-Gone, every media scan occurs offline using local hashing algorithms, maintaining the privacy of your files on your phone. It can search for either Exact Duplicates or Visually Similar media (burst shots, slight edits). The app automatically identifies the "Original" by prioritizing the oldest date and highest resolution, and supports TalkBack for accessibility.

I built Dupli-Gone out of frustration. Many other apps either didn’t work offline, had excessive ads, or required subscriptions just to access basic features. I wanted a reliable, user-friendly tool that could handle videos, photos, and GIFs, not just photos.

Tech Stack:
I'm using MD5 for exact matching and DCT pHash for visual similarity, built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for a modern user interface.
