Hi Product Hunt, I'm Seamus. I make small iPhone utilities under Pronounced GIF LLC, and DumpPixels is my second app on the App Store (after PhotoFloor).

Why I built it: most of my Photos library isn't photos. It's screenshots of text. Receipts, boarding passes, door codes, addresses, error messages. I kept every one "just in case," because I needed the words. The only thing holding the words was a full-size image.

So DumpPixels does one job:

1. It reads the text in a screenshot on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and there's no account.

2. You edit the text and save it as a small local note.

3. You confirm, and the screenshot goes to Recently Deleted. The note stays, and you can search it.

Choices I made on purpose:

- It never auto-deletes. Every clear goes through the iOS delete prompt.

- The biggest screenshots come first, so the heavy ones go first.

- It doesn't rewrite your text with an "AI summary." You get the words that were there.

- Scanning, OCR, and saving notes are free, so you can see whether it reads your screenshots before you pay. Clearing images is a one-time $19.99 unlock. No weekly or monthly plan.

One honest note: if iCloud Photos is on, a delete applies to every device in that library.

What would help me most: screenshots where the text comes out wrong, anything confusing in the clear flow, and whether $19.99 once feels fair.
