Dually is a free Android mileage tracker for people who drive for work. Pair your truck's Bluetooth once, and every drive is logged by itself: a trip starts when your phone connects and ends when you park. Trips are sorted Business or Personal by your work hours, and at month end Dually makes a clean PDF and CSV report for your accountant, in km or miles. No account, no subscription, no ads, and your trips stay on your phone.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Shawn, and I built Dually for myself first.
I was using Triplog for many year paying a subscription for a product that would frequently stop logging my trips. I finally got tired of losing my trips so decided to create my own app that I could customize specifically for my needs.
What Dually doesby itself: once pair to your truck's Bluetooth, and Android wakes Dually whenever your phone connects. It records the drive with GPS, ends the trip when you disconnect or park, and files it as Business or Personal by your work hours. At month end it builds a PDF and CSV report with each trip's date, times, addresses, kilometres and purpose, opens your email app, and you press send.
A few things I cared about:
• Free, with no account, no ads and no subscription
• Your trips stay on your phone (the app has no internet permission)
• Works with several work vehicles, each with its own odometer
• Android Auto screen and a home-screen widget
• Kilometres or miles
