@frboulais Love the idea of making drinking habits visible without judgment. The social aspect is interesting too — accountability usually makes a big difference. Curious to see how people use this long-term
I'm a fan of @Sunnyside and have been using it for a few months, but I really like the simplicity and clarity of @frboulais's @Drylendar.
Sunnyside provides a lot of social support through a global community of folks seeking to reduce their alcohol consumption, whereas Drylender is more like GitHub stats for your own self-tracked progress.
I'm gunna give it a try for a Dryish January — want to join me?
Love the simplicity and gamified calendar, making alcohol tracking social is a clever approach. Curious how you balance reminders without overwhelming users
I've stopped alcohol for 35 days and I feel much better! The data visualization is great way to understand my bad drinking habits.
What needs improvement
Profile stats are coming soon!
Does it handle relapse days without shaming the user?
Absolutely — Drylendar is completely judgment-free. Every day is just a day, no guilt trips or negative messages; you simply log what happened, add a note if you'd like, and keep moving forward.
Are there insights or trends beyond the calendar view?
Not yet — right now you have the color-coded calendar, year-at-a-glance view, streak counter, and shareable yearly recap to visualize your journey. We're working on adding more detailed insights and trends soon, so stay tuned!
Can I set weekly or monthly intake goals?
Not at the moment — Drylendar focuses on daily tracking with a beautiful calendar view, streak counting, and yearly recaps to help you stay mindful of your habits. By making your patterns visible at a glance, you naturally become more aware of your choices without the pressure of rigid targets!
