Hey everyone! 👋
I'm really excited and to finally share DropACookie with you.
The idea started from something I kept noticing over and over: people would create amazing projects, content, communities, or businesses, but there wasn't always an easy way for their audience to show support, leave feedback, or simply engage without jumping through a bunch of hoops.
I wanted to build something that felt simple, friendly, and approachable. Something that would let people "drop a cookie" as a small gesture of support, appreciation, or interaction.
One thing that surprised me during development was how much my original idea changed. I started with a much bigger vision packed with features, but as I talked to potential users and tested different ideas, I realized that simplicity was the real value. Every time I removed unnecessary complexity, the product became better.
There were definitely moments when things didn't go as planned. Features got redesigned, workflows were rewritten, and I spent more time than I'd like to admit tweaking small details. But those iterations helped shape DropACookie into what it is today.
This launch is an important milestone, but it's far from the finish line. I'm launching early because I want to build alongside the community and learn from real users.
I'd love to hear what you think:
- What stands out to you?
- What would you improve?
- What features would you like to see next?
Thank you for taking the time to check out DropACookie and support the journey. It genuinely means a lot. 🍪❤️
Looking forward to your feedback and questions
