Drop Note is a place to write without your name on it. Put one link in your bio and anyone can leave you an anonymous note, no account needed. Sign up to message friends, write under any topic and post notes that delete themselves.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Burak, an independent developer, and I built Drop Note.
I wanted to create a place where people could share what's on their mind, receive honest messages, and connect with others — without everything having to be tied to their identity.
That idea grew into Drop Note, a small social space built around notes and conversations.
Here's what you can do with it:
Get anonymous notes. Share your personal link (drop-note.com/@you) in your Instagram bio. Anyone can leave you a note without creating an account. Reply to the ones you like publicly, delete the rest, or mute unwanted senders.
Explore topics. Open a topic and add your own note. Join conversations with others interested in the same things.
Connect with friends. Add friends and chat one-on-one or in groups.
Share your thoughts. Post publicly or anonymously, explore hashtags, and bookmark notes you want to revisit.
Write notes that expire. Set a lifetime for a note and let it disappear automatically.
I built Drop Note with privacy in mind, including measures designed to prevent anonymous messages from being directly linked to their senders. There are no ads, and the platform supports both English and Turkish.
Under the hood, it's built with Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL, running on my own server.
I'd love your honest feedback.
Try getting your own link, share it with a friend, explore the feed, and tell me what works — and what doesn't.
I'm building this independently, and your feedback can genuinely help shape what comes next.
Thanks for checking out Drop Note! 🚀
Congrats on the launch, @burak_aciker I spent some time with Drop Note and a few things really stood out.
The anonymity feels like it was actually thought through. A lot of apps call themselves anonymous, but you can tell they're one step away from tying everything back to you. Here it feels like you took that part seriously, and that makes people much more willing to say what they really think.
The interface is also really easy to get around. I didn't have to figure anything out. Getting my link, browsing topics, replying to notes, it all just made sense.
What I appreciate most, though, is the feed. There's no Twitter-style algorithm pushing whatever will keep me angry and scrolling. I just see what people wrote. It feels calmer, and honestly that's pretty rare these days.
Really solid work for a solo project. Looking forward to seeing where you take it.
