I first launched drop.media in 2020 with a simple idea: drag an image into your browser and get a link to share it.
Six years later, I’ve rebuilt it around how we work today - including with AI agents.
AI tools can create all sorts of useful things, but getting those files out of a chat or local workspace and somewhere shareable can still be awkward. That’s where drop.media comes in.
You can now:
• Upload directly from AI tools through MCP
• Upload from your terminal with the CLI
• Build uploads into your own apps through the API
• Share a much wider range of media types
• Organise everything in a rebuilt media library
And yes, you can still just drag a file into your browser.
