Hello all! If you've ever studied design or taken a deep interest in minimal, yet functional design, you've most likely come across Dieter Rams. Dieter, (also well known as Mr. Braun) was the man behind the transformation of Braun where he worked until 1995, here he developed his signature minimalist and functional design approach. Rams' design principles, often summarised by the phrase "less, but better," emphasise simplicity, clarity, and user-centricity. He advocates for designs that prioritise functionality and longevity over unnecessary ornamentation. His work is characterised by clean lines, geometric shapes, and a timeless aesthetic that transcends trends. Therefore we've built Drams (a play on the whiskey dram as a shots of excellence) which is a no code Framer web/mobile based platform, where Framer components meet Dieter Rams' timeless design ethos and principles. We invite other Rams enthusiasts to help shape, curate, collect, remix, and submit Framer only creations for a chance to be featured on the site. Join us in growing and shaping the future of a less, but better digital design collection of interactive components!
