@cuygun Great point, and honestly the versioning problem is where most RAG implementations fall flat.
We handle this through document hierarchy and timestamp-based precedence. When conflicting information exists across SOPs, the system surfaces the most recent revision by default and flags the conflict to the user rather than silently picking one. The older doc doesn't disappear, it's deprioritized but traceable.
The difference from a generic website chatbot RAG is the domain context. In industrial operations, a wrong answer from a conflicting SOP isn't a bad UX moment, it's a safety or compliance risk. That changes how you have to engineer the retrieval layer entirely.
