Thank you Charlie Irish for spotting my app! :) Douane is a dynamic firewall working on the application layer. When an application, which is emitting some network packets, but is unknown to Douane, the application is blocked and a popup ask you if you allow the app to access the Internet (or network) or if you want to deny it. It is dynamic in the sense that you will build the rules on the fly, when the unknown app tries to access the Internet.
