DoPoint is a personalized weather forecast for your cravings. Track hunger, mood, food, exercise, and habits to uncover patterns behind emotional eating and recurring cravings. As you log, DoPoint learns from your behavior and forecasts the times you're most likely to struggle, helping you prepare before cravings hit. As habits improve, so does the forecast. No food shaming. No body commentary. Just awareness, patterns, and better habits.
Hi everyone! I'm Joshua, the founder of DoPoint. I built DoPoint because I kept noticing something strange about my own eating habits. Certain cravings seemed to show up at the same times, after the same triggers, and during the same types of days. Mainly in the afternoons at the office when I’m stressed, or tired from lack of sleep and trying to get through the day. And my office has free snacks, so naturally I grazed my way to clocking out.
Most nutrition apps focus on what you ate. I became much more interested in why I was stress-eating in the first place. That idea eventually became DoPoint: a personalized weather forecast for cravings. As you log hunger, mood, food, exercise, and habits, the app learns from your patterns and forecasts the times you're most likely to struggle. My goal wasn't to build another calorie tracker. I wanted to create a tool that helps people better understand their eating habits and the things that trigger their stress/emotional eating. I wanted this app to be proactive instead of reactive, and reflective instead of directive.
I'd love your feedback: When you hear "a weather forecast for your cravings," what comes to mind? What part of the concept is most interesting, confusing, or exciting to you?
